In a provocative advertising campaign showcased exclusively in ‘Vogue,’ the Samsung GALAXY S4 brings out the true essence of punk by combining radical technology and design with the radical heritage of punk fashion.

About the Campaign

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd, a global leader in digital media and digital convergence technologies, has partnered with Moda Operandi, the global luxury e-retailer, to bring to life the inherently rebellious nature of the punk era. The campaign supports Samsung GALAXY S4, which has been officially announced on March 14, 2013. On the occasion of The Costume Institute’s exhibition Punk: Chaos to Couture at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Samsung introduces the cutting edge innovation created for the GALAXY S4 to the fashion world. The result is a powerful and provocative advertising insert showcased exclusively in Vogue.

The campaign showcases select pieces from Moda Operandi’s exclusive punk collection that celebrates Punk: Chaos to Couture, with clothing by designers, some of whom are included in the exhibition. Included in the campaign are key pieces designed by Givenchy, Thom Browne, Moschino, Eddie Borgo and Balmain worn by Anja Rubik. The fashion photographs are themed around stunning features of GALAXY S4 which come alive on Vogue’s interactive tablet issue, a campaign video full of punk spirit, and a behind the scenes video of the photo-shoot production.
